After several years of practice in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine I developed my academic career. I gained an MSc at University of Edinburgh in Epidemiology in 2005 and went on to win a funded PhD place at the University of Leeds (department of Healthcare Sciences). After the PhD I was an honorary research fellow at the University of Southampton.
